Field Fund update

Guys

A number of teams have been contacted by field fund regarding paying the "Have Not" differential.

And many of you have contacted me in turn.

There is no question here that most if not all teams have paid their annual $ 310.00 amount which I have collected for field fund in the past.

What the field fund is now catching up on are those "have not" teams that owe the "Have Not" differential

They realize/understand that they have failed to collect from the past couple of years.

Complaints that you have about this should be directed to Willie Iriarte and Joh Loy @ wislfff@yahoo.com not me.

I have made sure that all teams made annual contributions.

All WISL teams even those with fields like IMF & WOrld Bank have contributed the annual $ 310.00.

So every WISL team contributes $ 310.00 whether they have fields or not.

When the field fund was created over 10 years ago in fall of 1998
it was agreed that because of complaint from teams that had their own home fields, that teams that do not have fields should pay an additional amount to recognize their "have not" status.

At that time, it was decided that teams that do not have fields owe an additional $ 800.00 spread over two seasons once they have been in league for more than one year.

This is all recorded on the WISL home page @ www.wisl.org under league history.

If your team is a have not am sure the field fund recognizes your team can not come up with all the $$ at once.

If you can not pay immediately, suggest you give a post dated check to mid season for the first $ 400 increment and allow your team time to collect from your players.

Hope this helps understand the issue.

See you at the meeting.
