GUNSTON is an ALL-WEATHER synthetic turf field with 2 inch "artificial grass." Cleats are recommended. Directions from I-495 in Virginia: Take I-395 north. Take Exit 7 (Glebe Road South). Turn right at light. Get into left lane and turn left at next light, staying on S. Glebe Road. Go past Giant shopping center and turn left onto S. Lang Street. Go 1-2 blocks. Turn left into the parking lot. The field is the synthetic pitch on the left. Directions from I-66 Eastbound: Take Exit 71 for Glebe Road. Turn right at the second light onto Glebe Road. Go across Arlington Blvd. (Rte 50). Go past the exit for I-395. Bear to the left at the split between S. Glebe Road and W. Glebe Road. Just past the strip mall on the left, turn left on South Lang Street. Turn left into the parking lot. The field is the synthetic pitch on the left. From D.C.: Take I-395 S. into Virginia. Take Exit 7 (Glebe Road). Turn left at light and follow directions above. On the Mapquest link, it is marked as “James W. Haley Park.” The field is a synthetic grass surface and is overlooked by the parking lot and Gunston MS/Community Center. Closest Metro Stops: Pentagon City Closest Parking: Available on-site.
